On the 27th April STOB region's Lead Partner, IHK Projektgesellschaft mbH, presented the project to a high level regional steering committee in the Brandenburg region, Germany.
The steering committee who meet regularly to exchange experiences and new knowledge, is comprised of various actors and institutions related to the creation of business and succession within the Brandenburg region, including: The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of the state of Brandenburg, the three Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Brandenburg, the three Chambers of Crafts of Brandenburg and additionally business promotion bank in the federal state of Brandenburg.
STOB regions in addition to two other INTERREG Europe projects, SPEED UP and SOCENT SPAs were presented during the meeting.
Feedback from the steering group was extremely positive, and were particularly interested in the experiences, challenges and good practices not only on a local context but also from the viewpoint of the other eight partner regions. The transferability of good practices were a hot topic and the steering group concluded with a discussion on potential implementation avenues for the construction of the regional action plan based on the topic of succession and transfer of business.
In addition the committee praised the networking with other INTERREG Europe projects.
