A jointly organized celebration of Europe Day held in Kajaani on May 9th 2018, which marks the presentation of the Schuman Declaration in 1950, the forerunner to the European Union.
As part of the itinerary, Kainuun Etu Ltd. held an open doors session in the afternoon whereby local residents where welcomed to familiarize with the development company's ongoing International Project's, including STOB regions.
A successful event where over 30 participants had the chance to learn about International projects' goals, methodology and positive implications on Kainuu's economy and society. Leaflets, flyers and project staff at hand were able to provide those interested an overview of the challenges faced by succession and business transfer.
The days events were jointly organized by Europe Direct Kainuu, Launch Pad Finland association and the Nuppa youth centre.
