STOB regions project's lead partner, IHK-Projektgesellschaft mbH Ostbrandenburg, held the ninth regional stakeholder group (RSG) meeting at the premises of Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH on the 30th April 2019.
In attendance, and members of the RSG, were representatives from MASGF, MWE, WF BB, The Guarantee bank Bürgschaftsbank Brandenburg, IHK Ostbrandenburg, STIC Wirtschaftsfördergesellschaft, Phoenix - Wirtschaftsberatung, BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, Kleinke Consulting Strategy and IHK Cottbus.
The meeting began with an in-depth review of the Good practices,regional specifics and results related to the previous 8th Interregional policy learning workshop on the topic of Financing and financial instruments supporting business transfer, held in Kranj, Slovenia in March 2019. The following item on the agenda, was to focus input on the upcoming interregional partner meeting to be held in Berlin, between 22nd - 23rd May 2019. The thematic of the meeting will explore Family businesses. The learnings and results of the Lead partner's participation in last month's INTERREG europe's Let's Cooperate! event held in Brussels, was presented and discussed.
The results of the local dissemination event "Future day" was presented to the RSG, with the aim promoting young persons entrepreneurial mindset. STOB regions project was involved to communicate and instill in the minds of the younger generation the possibility of taking over a company, rather than following the traditional route of establishing a start-up.
To conclude, an update of the regional action plan was presented, including results and key action line agreement of previous bilateral meetings with key stakeholders, including ministry level. Members of the stakeholder group offered input towards the development of the action plan, in anticipation for the project's implementation phase, to begin in early 2020.
