STOB regions partner Regional Development Agency with Business Support Center for SMEs - Plovdiv looking forward to the future - from Industry 4.0 to Society 5.0.
In order to keep up with the new developments, Velizar Petrov - Executive Director of RDA BSC SMEs and Alexander Tonkov - Member of the Board of RDA BSC SMEs, took part in two events that took place in Sofia these days:
- "Transformation of Industry 4.0 to Society 5.0 - Challenges to Universities ", organized by the Bulgarian Industrial Association and Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Sofia;
- "The Digital World - Today and tomorrow", Black Sea Conference organized by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) in the context of the BSEC Chairmanship of Bulgaria - the most representative and institutionally developed organization in the Black Sea region.
During the events Alexander Tonkov - a member of the Board of RDA BSC SMEs, met with Dr. Boyko Takov, Executive Director of BSMEPA, to acquaint him with the project STOB regions: Succession and transfer of business in the regions, co-financed by INTERREG EUROPE, as well as the preliminary concept of an Action Plan related to the optimization and policy improvement of the National Strategy of SMEs in Bulgaria 2014-2020. We received support from Dr. Takov for the further development of the Action plan.
RDA BSC SMEs is already part of Industry 4.0, taking active advantage of digitalization, cloud technologies and more, but plans to take a step further by developing new business models and offering smart services, building on the understanding that "One size is no longer sufficient ".
