On the 23rd of February TANIA participated, along with other Interreg Europe projects, in an exchange webinar entitled "Enhancing policy solutions for water reuse, wastewater and groundwater pollution" where some solutions for wastewater treatment and other solutions to tackle groundwater pollution were examined.
The themes of water reuse, wastewater and groundwater pollution emerged as popular topics from a survey launched by Interreg that, in light of the results, will lead to the drafting of a Policy Brief on "Sustainable water management in the circular economy".
In particular, TANIA was invited to participate by presenting a good practice that emerged in the project through the Region of Crete represented by Vasileios Binas (IELS-FORTH). The Good Practice discussed was "Utilization of nanomaterials for decontamination of air and wastewater by solar photocatalysis".
