The JASKA seminar was held in Hämeenlinna Finland during the 15th -16th November 2017 and was attended by Helsinki Univiersity (P3) as project representative. Purpose of this semionar is to bring together contractors and consults that work to remediate oil hydrocarbon contaminated soil and groundwater. Also public servants take part to inform audience about national and EU legislation considering contaminated areas.
Several presentations about remediated areas contaminated with oil hydrocarbons and also remediation techniques for oil hydrocarbon contaminated areas were presented. Furthermore, participants could also take part to a risk assessment training where guidelines for risk assessment of contaminated areas were showed.
JASKA seminar was a remarkable event in order to promote TANIA since a lot of Finnish consults and contractors that could benefit form nanoremediation have actually attended to this event.
