University of Helsinki has participated in the Conference on the Ecology of Soil Microorganisms is an interdisciplinary platform addressing questions related to microbes (bacteria, fungi, archaea, protozoa and viruses), microbial communities and their ecological networks. Modern genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic methods are linked with approaches based on soil biochemical, chemical and functional analyses, exploration of soil fauna and plant ecology.
A TANIA project poster was exposed duting the conference. The topic of the poster was nZVI enhanced biostimulation and about plans to test this technique in Finland. nZVI enhanced biostimulation is based on soil microbes and in the conference there where a lot of scientific crowd who could be interested of this aplied method to use biostimulation.
