On 3rd April 2017 UpGradeSME partner Steinbeis Europa Zentrum organized in cooperation with its Managing Authority “Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing” the “Open Innovation Congress Baden-Württemberg 2017” and invited more than 300 regional and national stakeholders.
Further, the Managing Authorities from UpGradeSME partners participated in the congress as the 3rd interregional meeting run parallel to this event in Stuttgart. Main objective of the event was to introduce the topic „Open Innovation” to SMEs from Baden-Württemberg and to overcome barriers to successfully implement open innovation strategies. Stakeholders from UpGradeSME consortium had the chance to discuss with regional enterprises their experience with innovation strategies and their influence on internationalization in face-to-face discussions.
