The Hungarian Ministry for National Economy as Managing Authority of the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programmes (EDIOP) organized an ’INTERREG Day’ in Budapest on 10th October 2017.

Among the participants were those Hungarian partners, who are working on Interreg Europe, Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme and Danube Transnational Programme international projects which have direct effect on the EDIOP programmes.

The involved international projects were:

UpGradeSME, ATM for SMEs, BRIDGES, ERUDITE, INKREASE, ClusterX 2.0, CLUSTER S3, CRE:HUB, InnoInnoBridge, SKILLS+, HELIUM, HoCare, LOCARBO, RuralGrowth, TRIS, SHARE, Rural SMEs, ACCELERATOR, RI2integrate, FIERCE

The aim of the INTERREG Programmes within the 2014-20 programming period is to reach a direct positive effect in the execution of the Operational Programmes financed from the Structural Funds.

The event served as a good occasion to fulfill this aim. An active forum was provided for the Hungarian partners to share good practices and experiences together with the representatives of the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy. The partners talked about:

  • what is the objective of the own project
  • what have they learned from the project so far
  • what can be utilized regionally and nationally
  • proposals how to reach effective impact in policy change procedures

The colleagues of the Ministry shared opinion about how can they ensure for the projects that their learnings and good examples will be adapted effectively into the chosen policy instruments.

Mr. Péter Keller, the representative of the Ministry for National Economy - MA and project partner in the UpGradeSME project - presents the colleagues of the involved projects their point of view.
