The colleagues of the South Muntenia Regional Development Agency took part on the Staff Exchange action at the German partner Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum between the 7th – 8th of February 2018 in the premises of Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum in Karlsruhe. Main objective of the meeting was to equip the Romanian project partners and stakeholder with an in-depth insight into the Steinbeis system– identified as a good practice in the UpGradeSME project- and the technology transfer landscape in Baden-Württemberg. Special focus was further placed on how to facilitate access to a knowledge pool for stakeholders planning to set up technological transfer entities.

The staff exchange was connected and was organized back-to-back to the InnoMedia project Final Conference took place between the 7-8 February 2018. The InnoMedia final conference was organized to foster a debate on role and functions of SME innovation support agencies and on design and delivery of SME innovation support measures as well.  InnoMedia is a Coordination and Support Action under the Horizon 2020 Framework and brings together three innovation agencies from Hungary (RCISD), Germany (SEZ) and Italy (Innova BIC, coordinator). A second INNOSUP project (InnoProcur) was represented by the coordinator Mr. Tommaso Bernardini from Friuli Innovazione, Italy as well. Similar to the UpGradeSME project, InnoMedia and InnoPROCUR use a peer learning approach to improve policies, programmes, tools and services for SME innovation.
