Madeira Innovation Challenge was a personalised consultancy program with the aim of supporting SMEs in their digital transition, allowing them to evolve towards environmental sustainability.
Acting on two of the six strategic axes of the Smart Islands Hub (SIH) - circular economy, environment and sustainability and energy - the program aimed to support participating companies in identifying problems, in the general scope of the organisation's operation, and in defining solutions that can be implemented using digital technologies.
The program was the first Smart Islands Hub activity created by Startup Madeira with the support of the SIH Ecosystem and took place on the 14th, 15th and 20th of June, with 10 local SMEs.
