With 12 acres of vineyards and a state-of-the-art winery at its disposal, Triantafyllopoulou winery revived the wine sector of Kos. It demonstrates a dynamic presence in the wine tourism of the country, since the winery is among the most visited on a national level with 35,000 visitors per year. The wines of the Triantafyllopoulos winery are categorized as PGI (Products with a Geographical Indication). Their exceptional quality has also been widely recognized at many international wine competitions. Triantafyllopoulos winery is characterized by extroversion and participates in presentations in Greece and abroad. The owner of the company is the mastermind behind the successful Gastronomy Festival "Κως Γαστρονομικώς" a very successful event during the tourist season that promotes Kos island Gastronomy and traditional products to foreign and local visitors, It takes place since 2015 and the festival has been awarded on Tourism Awards 2018 in the category Strategy and Innovation in Tourism in the field of tourism interconnection with other sectors of the economy.
