Thermal rehabilitation to improve energy efficiency at building C1 and building C2 - school group "Horia Vintilă" Segarcea town, Dolj county
The general objective of the project THERMAL REHABILITATION FOR IMPROVING ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN BODY C1 AND BODY C2 - SCHOOL GROUP "HORIA VINTILA" SEGARCEA CITY, DOLJ COUNTY represents the reduction of administration costs by increasing the energy efficiency of the public building. In this sense, the following works are to be carried out:
• insulation of opaque vertical construction elements;
• replacement of carpentry related to facades;
• thermal insulation of the floor above the last level;
• interventions on heating installations, on hot water installations for consumption and on the lighting installation;
the implementation of the investment project will ensure the optimal conditions for carrying out specific activities by:
• saving the amount of energy in the medium and long term and reducing maintenance costs for heating and hot water consumption;
• reduction of pollutant (CO2) emissions generated by energy production, transport and consumption leading to the efficient use of energy resources, in accordance with the updated Europe 2020 Strategy for the 2030 time horizon.
Resources needed
The total value of the project is 787,764,857 euros, of which the non-reimbursable financial assistance is 624,127,941 euros.
Evidence of success
1) Performance indicators:
- reduction of greenhouse gases: estimated annual decrease of greenhouse gases (equivalent to tons of CO2) = 13.90;
- energy efficiency: decrease in annual primary energy consumption of public buildings (KWh / year) = 654,156.74
2) Project indicators:
- decrease in annual energy consumption in public buildings (toe) = 8.94;
- number of buildings that benefit from measures to increase energy efficiency = 2;
- decrease of the specific annual consumption of total
Difficulties encountered
Execution works (finishes) for the completion of the project were delayed due to the situation regarding the implementation of the fire scenario;

with greenhouse effect) related to the high school buildings and implicitly, to the reduction of the maintenance and upkeep costs of these buildings (C1 + C2). The implementation of the project was successful, and can be an example of good practice for other authorities.
