the first regional law establishing a coherent framework for circular economy in Italy
the regional law, under discussion, is the first to set a framework for circular economy, defining circular activities, highlighting the measures the region has to undertake in order to support and to lead the transition. The Regional Circular Economy Transition Plan is the main operational document leading the regional transition, focusing on the economic sectors endowed with the highest potential for the transition. It employs an horizontal approach that promotes circularity in every aspect, engaging all the actors of the Quadruple Helix.

Evidence of success

its the first piece of legislation that tries to frame circular economy in a wide manner, without over-categorizing and imposing restriction to a very new field.

Potential for learning or transfer
