Catalogue of possible usage in various waste materials made by UCEEB (University Centre for Energy Efficient Buildings, CTU in Prague)
The objective of the project is adaptation of recycling technology so as to achieve the highest quality input material with stable properties and thus ensure efficient use of all components of recycled waste concrete.
This catalogue brings to the various stakeholders a catalogue of possible usage in various materials:
▪ Recycled / recyclable material
▪ Secondary raw material
▪ Inert waste, hazardous waste etc
▪ The recycled materials with potential of the use in construction industry
▪ The products containing recycled materials
▪ EU and Czech law documents
▪ Certification, Requirements and Standards

The project was financed within the standard research activities of UCEEB.

Potential for learning or transfer

This best practice has brought a clarity into a usage of various construction materials. Setting a market standarsd and communicate all the advantages of usage recycled contents makes it much easier for final users to choose recycled content instead of raw materials.
