After a successful kick-off event organized by the lead partner, City of Enschede, the Aerial Uptake consortium is now working on the first activities and setting up its website and social media.
A Game of Drones
Lead partner, City of Enschede organized the kick-off meeting for Aerial Uptake at the Space53 headquarters at Technology Base Twente. A former military airfield has been developed into a high-tech industrial area. City of Enschede planned the kick-off meeting to coincide with the final demonstration of VUTURA, another project in which the city was involved. Under the title of Game of Drones, the program offered both keynotes, discussions and a live demonstration. The Aeria Uptake consortium joined the program during lunch and the demonstration, in between their own discussions laying down the framework for the coming two years. The next day, meetings were held in the City Office in downtown Enschede.

After the kick-off meeting, the first activities are undertaken by partners RISE from Sweden and I2CAT from Spain.
