The final interregional BID-REX workshop, organised by the National Institute of Biology, was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 21-22 January.

The partners and invited stakeholders discussed the action plans they have been developing to improve the use of biodiversity data in nature conservation. After making improvements to these action plans, the partners will spend the next two years putting these plans into action.
The workshop was opened by several speeches, including from a representative of the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Slovenia, by the Director of the Institute of the Republic of Slovenia for Nature Conservation and the Director of Ljubljanski barje, the pilot area for Slovenian partners.
