In the context of the implementation of the BD4R project, the Attica Region continues at a steady pace, the actions of open participation and dissemination of the project results, inviting representatives of the Regional Stakeholders group, in specialized meetings and workshops.
For this reason, the 4th Meeting of the Regional Committee of Representatives of the BD4R project took place on Wednesday 30 June 2021. This committee was established on the initiative of the Attica Region, on the occasion of its active participation in European programs, which are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the INTERREG EUROPE 2014 - 2020 program.
The objective of this meeting was the presentation of the results of European partner’s virtual meeting which took place on 27/01/2021, 21/04/2021 and 15/06/2021, the exchange of views and experiences between stakeholders and the preparation of the next steps of the program.
More specifically:
• Informing about the Joint Analytical Report which Region of Attica had developed for river management plans and policies of the participating regions, so as to improve partners knowledge of other good practices (GP)
• Informing about the progress achieved in the implementation of the project and the Action Plan that all partners are going to develop
• Informing about the virtual study visits of European partners and its stakeholders, which took place 25-26/01/2021 (Sweden) and 16-17/06/2021 (France)
• Informing about the virtual study visits of European partners and its stakeholders, which will take place on 14 -15 October 2021 (Lithuania)
The virtual meeting was completed with discussion and proposals regarding identification and collection of Good Practices of the project and also the next steps of the project.
