The BIGDATA 4RIVERS project was presented in the public area of the County Administrative Board Östergötland in Linköping. The project was announced in the public area of the CAB Linköping, in the press release and in several regional meetings and local stakeholder meeting.
The objective of the event was to inform the general public about the existence of the BIGDATA 4RIVERS project and it´s purpose.
The brief presentation of the state of the art of the water management and water quality problems in Östergötland was given. The main goals and plans of the project were explained, as well as the benefit for the region that this project will bring. The Interreg Europe program was briefly presented and its goals for enhancing the interregional exchange of knowledge and experiences were explained.
The presentation of the project attracted interest of the public. The interested were further referred to the BIGDATA 4RIVERS and Interreg Europe websites.
