Last November 27th, the Iberian Association of Douro River Municipalities (AIMRD) presented, to its associates the Interreg Europe project BIGDATA 4RIVERS, in his headquarters at Laguna del Duero City Hall
The objective of the participation of AIMRD in this project is to contribute the improvement of the Regional Operational Programme (ROP) of Castile and Leon region taking advantage of the knowledge an experiences of all the project partners and uptake the opportunities generated by new technologies and Big Data promoting the generation of smarter water policies and strategies to provide measures/projects that are currently not contemplated in the ROP.
The project will also make possible to present, at a European level, the good practices of Castile and Leon region concerning water management and river water quality.
