On 12 September 2017 Lubelskie Voivodeship held the next stakeholder meeting of BRIDGES project. The focus of the agenda was to agree photonics applications in the bioeconomy sector as a key smart specialization of Lubelskie.
During the discussion we tried to prioritize and select concrete industries, included in the innovation map of Lubelskie, that have the potential for application of photonics technologies.
The spectrum of applications must comply with the themes of the Research Agenda developed within the Joint Undertaking with the National Centre for Research and Development.
The meeting resulted in preselecting some industries, that will be further confirmed during coming stakeholder sessions.
Once they are approved, the next step will be carrying out the feasibility study, on the basis of which the action plan will be developed.
