The Regional Council of Kainuu, PP2 in BRIDGES project and Kainuun Etu Oy, PP1, co-organised on 8 March 2018 the planned regional stakeholder group meeting.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the Kainuu feasibility studies and forthcoming action plan concepts. Following presentations from the designated experts, two types of actions were identified: business investments and possible, in parallel, research programme.
The business investments were classified in terms of maturity, competitiveness and innovativeness. In the next period, the regional stakeholders will discuss and select the final focus. In parallel, the progress of the BERRY S3P was presented and the possible co-operator regions were analysed.
