From October 11 to October 12, 2021 the 19th European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) will take place.

Due to the success of #EURegionsWeek 2020, which attracted more than 10.000 participants online, this year the event will also be held in a digital format.

This year`s edition is named “Together for recovery” and will focus on measures and public policies for fairer, greener and more digital future for recovery. The COVID-19 crisis will be the central point of the #EURegionsWeek 2021.

Partners and participants will discuss and exchange good practices and ideas on four themes:

Cohesion

• Green transition

• Digital transition

• Citizens` engagement

The programme includes many sessions and workshops.

Digital transformation technologies and the future of cooperation between European regions and cities

This workshop will explore how digital transformation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) can be used to improve the territorial cooperation process, including partnership formation, study visits, best practices and project coordination. Attendees will learn how to enhance the effectiveness of interregional learning, good practice transfer and integration into mainstream ERDF policy instruments.
