Mallorca Chamber of commerce started in November holding a series of events for CARPE DIGEM project. A practical CARPE DIGEM workshop to discuss about the different possibilities that offer Digital Innovation Hubs in Spain and Europe was held at October 10 with more than 40 participants. A presentation of the project and its actions was made. Next, at December 19, the regional group of stakeholders gather with the aim is to ensure that the CAROE DIGEM Action Plan reflects the priorities of the key parties interested. 16 representatives of the core of Balearic Digital Innovation Hub (TURISTEC, Mallorca Chamber of Commerce, Agrofood cooperative, University of Balearic Islands and Regional Government) discussed the regional situation regarding the uptake of digital technologies. They focused at the opportunities CARPE DIGEM project and partnership offer for building a sustainable digital innovation ecosystem in the region. The stakeholders started the elaboration of the regional Action plan, the selection of good practices and the planning of activities related to the staff exchanges and study visits within CARPE DIGEM project. Next RMSG meeting was planned to be held in the very near months to proceed further with the Action plan development.
