I was able to see parts of almost every partner’s presentation, and I was very impressed with all that has been achieved. Like you, I particularly appreciated the underwater heritage action presented by your Greek partner, and the digitisation department set up by MANRA which will influence also their heritage grants is also a very interesting development. It was interesting also to hear about the practical challenges of the Estonian partner in photographing their museum collections as part of their pilot action. I had the impression that the project has been very useful in all the regions, which is great." - Eilish O'Loughlin.
On 04.12.2020 was held on-line the Final Conference of project “Collaborative Digitization of Natural and Cultural Heritage” CD-ETA.
During the CD-ETA Final conference were presented the results of the interregional cooperation in 7 European regions and how experience and good practices exchanged helped the regions to face the challenges in terms of improvements of the policies for conservation, preservation and promotion of the cultural and natural heritage by the means of the digital technologies.
At the event took part a representative of Joint Secretariat of Interreg Europe Programme – CD-ETA policy officer Eilish O’Loughlin. She presented Interreg Europe Programme: State of play.
Also participated high level policy speakers from all partners regions:

• Mr. Jordi Juan Huguet, Regional Vice-Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation, Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society in Valencian Government, Spain
• Mr. Txema Pelaez Palazón, Representative of the FVMP (Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces), Spain
• Mr. Roberto Ferrari, Director Department for Culture and Research of the Tuscany Region, Italy
• Mr. Örs Fekete, Secretary-General of National Mountain Rescue Service (Salvamont) from Romania and Head of Office within the Mountain Rescue Public Service of Harghita County Council, Romania
• Mrs Mateja Hafner Dolenc, Secretary General at the Association of Historic Towns of Slovenia
• Mrs. Kristiin Meos, Chief Specialist from Ministry of Culture in Estonia, Responsible for coordinating Estonian General Digital Action Plan for digitizing cultural heritage in Estonia
• Mr. Orlin Iliev, Chief of Department “Digitalization”, Directorate “Digitalization, Restoration, Conservation and Mycrofilming”, State Agency Archives, Bulgaria
• Mr. Konstantinos Tzamaloukas,Project Manager, Region of Western Greece
Some had sent video, others participated live, even from the street. It was important for everyone to share the impact the project had on their region.
All project partners presented their achievements per regions.
The CD-ETA project leaves a rich legacy for further development and promotion of European Cultural and natural heritage, with significant benefits for regional development, economic growth and employment generation, through sustainable cultural tourism, new products and services.
