Estonian second stakeholder meeting took place on 2th November 2016 at Viimsi in the Estonian War Museum – General Laidoner Museum for 36 participants from different sectors (Ministry of Culture, museums, private enterprises). During this event, information about the CD-ETA project and its activities was provided to the stakeholders. Also, we discussed about different smart solutions in the museum and tried to formulate innovative ideas for the hackathon dedicated to creative industries. Hackaton took place in January and several museums presented their ideas to programmers.
Third stakeholder meeting took place on 29th March also in Estonian War Museum for 28 participants. This event was based on the results of the first thematic seminar “Digitization of natural heritage” in Valencia on 31st January - 3th February . Estonian project team made an overview about best practices heard during this seminar. Also, on 29th March Estonian War Museum together with Ministry of Culture organized a discussion to talk about the importance of digitization in the future of the museums. Summary of this event will be published soon in the national newspaper “Sirp”.
The next meeting will be held on 15th June at Estonian War Museum, too.
