On March 12-14, 2019 in Pleven, Bulgaria, was held the last interregional event of the first phase of the CD-ETA project.
During the event, everyone present had the opportunity to get acquainted directly with the regional action plans of individual partners and indirectly with many good practices in the field of digitization of natural and cultural heritage.
How was reached to the action plans been developed?
Since 1 April 2016, when the CD-ETA project was launched, three interregional workshops and five thematic seminars for digitalization of natural and cultural heritage have been held for three years.
The first results of the interregional learning process reflect on the regional action plans.
What plan to do in their regions over the next 2 or more years consecutively presented each partner team.
CD-ETA as a project and MANRA as a partner can boast an incredibly result – creating a digitization department in MANRA.
„During the CD-ETA project, MANRA has gained a new vision of heritage digitization, its
importance and relevance in cultural, historical and economic opportunities. This awareness
raising wasn`t not only for the projects participants, but also it went up into the hierarchical
chain structure and culminated in a political decision to create a specific department dedicated
to this theme.
An important experience that inspire the development of this new service was the
organization structure of the “Fundación Santa Maria La Real” witch is one of the partners of
CD-ETA. This foundation promotes the valorization and dissemination of cultural
heritage. MANRA has learnt and replicated some of the structural functionalities of this
Institution.
Another important lesson learned from this project was the Tallin workshop, where the SMART methodology was explained in details; this help us to achieve a higher and more professional knowledge to implement the first draft of the Action plan.
To promote and influence the policy instruments of regional government, a monitoring
committee will be created (WP 6 of the action plan) with the stakeholders involved in the
project, like the regional government of Valencia, the federation of Municipalities of Valencia
region and others.
This committee will have the responsibility to accompany, to disseminate the results of CD-ETA
project, and also to improve the policy instruments. Base on the assessment of the results and
best practices of MANRA project, the first goal is to achieve, to promote and to create new
financial grants for similar projects. The second goal is to upgrade and add a new vision of the
OP (Valencia operational program), specifically regarding the Valencia regional digital agenda:
Line one – Digital citizenship; and Line 2C – reinforcement of the IT application regarding
electronic culture. The MANRA goal is to promote a new addenda in the OP that reflect lessons
learned from the CD-ETA.“, said Sergi Machi.
According the guidelines of the JS of Interreg Europe in the regional action plans have to be included measures with high level of feasibility.
Methodology on how to monitor the implementation of the action plans over the next two years has given the scientific coordinator of the project Hembo Pagi.
At the end of the event, all partners wished success in implementing the action plans.
