The Study Tour offered an opportunity to policy makers and senior officers from partner regions to experience first-hand highly important nature & cultural heritage assets, which need to be protected and preserved for cultural tourism development and promotion.
Several key issues and good practices were demonstrated on the ground, dedicated to intangible heritage, industrial heritage, interpretation facilities for heritage and innovation/digitisation of cultural resources, with deployment to sustainable cultural tourism.
