This annual meeting gathers stakeholders from the energy sector, and its 4th edition took place in Mérida, Spain, from 28th to 29th November 2018

ExpoENERGEA is organized by the Extremadura Energy Agency - a CISMOB Project Partner - and the Energy Cluster of Extremadura. It aims to be a meeting point for cooperation, exchange of experiences and knowledge between companies, agents and related institutions from the energy and electric vehicle sectors, of both sides of the Spanish-Portuguese border.

This year’s edition included several public interventions and debates regarding areas such as Buildings’ Energy, Policies in Energy, Electric and Sustainable Mobility.

More specifically, it should be highlighted the intervention of Olga García, the Regional Minister for Economy and Infrastructure, that presented the Regional Strategy for boosting the Electric Vehicle. It should be pointed out that this strategy is included in the CISMOB’s Action Plan for Extremadura, where until 2020 the Extremadura Regional Government plans to invest 6.139.000€, from the Operational Program for ERDF of Extremadura 2014-2020. This way, one of the main performance indicators from CISMOB project has been accomplished.

In another moment of the event, Nuno Boneville from MOBI.E (Portugal) showed the state of the art of Electric Vehicles in Portugal. Also, Javier Julve from Electromaps (Spain) made a counterpart speech on Spanish situation. In the Q&A section, several ideas with the aim to interoperate both Spanish and Portuguese chargue points networks were presented.

In the Exhibition Area, several electric vehicles and charging stations brands were presented.
