Junta de Extremadura (the regional Government of Extremadura, Spain) prepares a call of proposals for the acquisition of electric vehicles and/or the installation of charging points, aimed at individuals, SMEs, large companies, town halls, neighborhood associations, and non-profit associations, among other beneficiaries.
The regulation that will establish the basis for the grants was published in the Transparency Portal, for public consultation and the presentation of suggestions.
The general director of Industry, Energy and Mines, Samuel Ruiz, has advanced that his department has a budget item this year of 2.8 million euros, coming from both European funds and the Community, and million euros will be added to the MOVES Program (Efficient and Sustainable Mobility) set up by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE), a body attached to the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
He also announced, during the constitution of the Electric Mobility Table of Extremadura, that this plan will be one of "the most ambitious" of Spain.
