Stakeholders from DigiBEST project discuss the digital transformation of SMEs in the province of Granada
On January the 29th, Wednesday, the first meeting of the Granada-based DigiBEST Stakeholders was held, in the framework of the INTERREG EUROPE Program, at the Otea site of the CIE building of the Granada County Council.
These were the institutions that attended: Chamber of Commerce of Granada and Motril, Guadalinfo centres, through the representation of a member of the Fernando de los Ríos Consortium, the School of Computing and Telecommunications Engineering and the OTRI from the University of Granada, the Cluster of the Sustainable Construction, the IDEA Agency, BIC Granada, the Andalusia Entrepreneurship, the Young Executives Association, the Granada Technologic Circle, and the Free Software R+D Foundation. Excused their presence the heads of Smart Agrifood, and the Cluster ON Granada.
The meeting, that began at 9:30 in the morning and lasted just over two hours, it was divided into two parts. The initial one in which Ignacio Rosales, technician of the Business promotion and consolidation Service of the County Council of Granada, explained the general directions of the project, remarking the main objective, boosting the competitiveness of micro and SMEs through digital transformation. He also showed the European Partners involved in the project from six countries (Latvia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Norway and Portugal), and so the agenda, organization, action lines and communication strategy that are planned.
The second part was carried out for Anabel Rodríguez from Tutugi Consulting, and it was working on the development of a SWOT matrix, dividing the meeting participants into three different groups, that dealt with diverse issues related to the actual state of digitalization of Micro and SMEs in the province of Granada.
Finally, each working group put in common its conclusions, ending the reunion, that will be convened again in the last four months period of the current year.
