The E-MOB consortium is very proud that it was possible to integrate the project in a study course at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) in Austria. Three students of FHV from two different study courses built an interdisciplinary team that analyzed good practices from Vorarlberg and developed possible strategies to adopt these good practices to the partners in Cieza.
Due to the Corona crisis, the team met online regularly for one week, discussed their ideas, prepared relevant posters and fact sheets, and presented their results at the end of the week to the project team of FHV, Prof. (FH) Dr.-Ing. Markus Preissinger (head of Research Center Energy at FHV) and Dr. Peter Kepplinger (head of research group Energy Systems and Components at the Research Center).
“Although it was not possible to meet up personally cause of Corona, the students were really motivated to work on the E-MOB topics. As the students had a different background (from engineering to law), they looked on the topics from a different angle than we normally do and showed, that external experts can be students as well. I am looking forward to seeing them at a Review Process as external experts presenting their results”, said Prof. Preißinger.
Dr. Kepplinger adds: “None of these students had contact with the Interreg framework or any other European funding so far. It is a great success of E-MOB that the students were able to actively participate in such a project for the first time in their career.”
