The official 2nd stakeholder meeting for the group “grid interaction” in Dornbirn, Vorarlberg took place on 28 th of July 2020.  Afterward, during the meeting, there was discussed the biggest challenges for grid operators resulting from EV integration and what are possible counter-strategies to mitigate the effects. The main conclusion of the meeting was the necessity of the controllability of private EVs at home must be communicated to the public. Awareness of the need for interaction with the grid operator has to be fostered. The main argument should be that the grid infrastructure is financed by public authorities and, therefore, cost optimality should be in interest of all stakeholders including the public
