The Higher Education for Smart Specialisation Lithuania case study was completed in June 2020 and the results were published in the following report. It was also given visibility through the JRC Science Flash country news for Lithuania.
European commission Joint Research Centre (EC JTS) is organising a training that will focus on how to boost the Higher Education-Industry-Government collaborations in the context of Smart Specialisation Strategies on December, 2nd & 3rd 2020 (Brussels – Virtual location).
The training will be organised around an initial and final session common to all and two targeted sessions, one for public authorities and another one for higher education and industry stakeholders. The proposed agenda is as follows:
2nd December 2020:
- 9:00- 10:00 – Initial session with overall presentation of barriers/drivers of higher education-industry-government collaborations challenges, barriers, etc.
- 10:15- 13:00 – Targeted session for public authorities involved in S3.
3rd December 2020:
- 9:30- 12:30 - Targeted session for higher education and industry/cluster stakeholders.
- 14:30- 17:00 - Practical exercise to define a roadmap to promote higher education-industry-government collaborations in your region
We will count with an expert that will bring knowledge on the main barriers, drivers and opportunities for these collaborations, with EU examples on how to build such collaborations. You will also have the opportunity to develop a roadmap on higher education-industry-government collaborations.
