The Innovation Week of San Sebastian is a key event of the year given that it makes visible the fact that it is a city that innovates in different sectors and at different levels: companies, research centers, associations or entrepreneurs. In addition, it allows to transfer to the socio-economic fabric the initiatives and projects that arise in the city around innovation.
The Innovation Week, Donostia WeekINN contains a complete program of activities around the innovation strategy that takes place in the city, from different business sectors, educational institutions, public bodies, research and technology centers, entrepreneurs and citizens in general. It is about offering a space of visibility, contrast, training, information and learning around this attitude and commitment to innovation in Donostia. In collaboration with the entities and agents of the local innovation ecosystem, activities are organized throughout the week to share experiences on innovation.

More than 50 events aimed at companies, university students, school students, researchers, citizens…we will be accompanied by more than 150 internationally renowned experts and professionals. We will also look at innovation by and for everyone, in areas such as education, business ecosystem, and international connections. An unmissable week that is open to the city and its citizens, to showcase the city innovative DNA character, approach innovation to the citizens and keep pushing the strong bet made by the City Council for Innovation as its development driver.
Besides, this edition of the innovation week will have delegations in Vilnius (Lithuania), Birmingham (UK) and Boston (USA).These cities will organise activities as part of Donostia WeekINN and will run along with San Sebastian different Hackathons with shared innovation and smart city solution goals.
