In the next four years, 3 local public authorities, 3 regional and territorial organisations, 2 European transnational networks, and one international association will work together within the EURE project. It is time to discover them!


The EURE team is led by Atlantic Axis of Peninsular Northwest which is an association of 35 local authorities in Galicia and Northern Portugal working for territorial cohesion of the urban system in the Euroregion. It is also composed of:

•    The Association of Cities and Regions for sustainable Resource management (ACR+) works as Advisory partner in the project. ACR+ is an international network of cities and regions sharing the aim of promoting the circular economy, smart resource consumption and sustainable waste management through waste prevention, product reuse and material recycling. In the last 25 years, ACR+ has been continuously working on developing and promoting the expertise of public authorities in effective waste-product-resource policies, encouraging practical action as well as supporting them in their transition towards a circular economy;

•     The Agency for the Development of the Empolese Valdelsa (ASEV) from Italy is a territorial agency operating innovation, vocational training, and career guidance in the territory of Empolese Valdelsa, which gathers several municipalities in the heart of Tuscany;

•    Alba Iulia Municipality in Romania;

•    Lubekskie Voivodeship is a regional self-government entity performing the role of the public administration body, in education, culture, spatial planning and environmental management. It works at regional level in the territory of Lublin region, in southeastern Poland;
•     Department of coordination of European projects of the Pilsen City is a public organization funded by the municipality of Pilsen. It works at local level in developing European projects regarding several thematic areas such as environment, transport, education, culture, etc.;

•    The Nicosia Development Agency (ANEL) supports municipalities of the area of Greater Nicosia for planning, funding and implementing strategic objectives based on their local/regional needs. The territory of Greater Nicosia is subdivided into seven municipalities of the island of Cyprus;

•    Atlantic Cities is a transnational European network that gathers 355 local authorities based in the Atlantic Arc and it represents 4,5 million inhabitants. Inside the EURE project, Atlantic Cities will analyze and develop a policy instrument of the region of Britany;

•    The Riga City council brings its support to the EURE project from Latvia. The Municipality implements and develops structural policy instruments, with the aim of use of green infrastructure solutions in urban development projects.

During the first four semesters of the project, each partner will host a study visit, enabling the whole partnership to understand the contexts of the policy instruments and to meet local stakeholders.
