EU_SHAFE Heart of Slovenia Third Stakeholders Meeting. On-line (SI)
Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia held the 3rd Stakeholder Meeting of the EU_SHAFE project, on December 9th 2020, which was implemented on-line due to Covid-19 restrictions. There were 14 participants from local institutions for elderly, municipalities and NVOs.
Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia presented selected 6 good practices that enable better quality of life of elderly in the field of social participation, namely Friendly Cities 4All (Spain), IdoVis (Portugal), Local Centres in Aarhus Municipality (Denmark), Q8 – development of Social space (Germany), Drogheda and District Support 4 Older People (Ireland), WHO's Global Age Friendly Cities Project (Bizkaia).
After each presentation there was a discussion with the participants and evaluation of GPs. They also presented what similar is already implementing in Slovenia and what can be transferred into our local environment. Good practice that was the most interesting is from Ireland and some of the stakeholders would like to visit it in 2021 so they could receive additional informations.
Group evaluation of each GP was prepared and will be imported into online evaluation forms.
