Day one contained interesting topics regarding how to get more women into STEM-jobs. It starts in the kindergartens. During the project, research has shown that we do not treat girls and boys the same, even though we have all the knowledge necessary to realise that this is important. The the seminar continued with showing the need for good practices and the importance of network to support female entering into the STEM world and furthermore the research done in Arezzo to train and mentor female entrepreneurs.

Day two started out with several opening speeches from high ranked officials from the Arezzo Territory, followed by interesting presentation regarding how significant it is to have female participation in the STEM sector and as entrepreneurs to ensure sustainable economic growth.

The interactive round-table discussion focused on the importance to support female entrepreneurship through mentoring and training. Here the experience from the various regions participating in the FEMINA project was highlighted.

The final event ended with all the FEMINA partners talking about the impact the FEMINA project has done in their respective regions, before we got to the conclusions and final remarks.

After two exiting days, it is hard to realise that this exceptional project is coming to an end. Many participants expressed the wish for a follow up project, but this is yet to see if will happen.
