On the 8th of November 2018, Bucharest Ilfov Regional Development Agency organized the 1st stakeholder group meeting held at Novotel Hotel, Bucharest. We gathered 23 of attendees from the public, private and NGO’S sector such as Ministry Of Communications And Information Society; Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI); National Agency for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men; Ilfov County Council; Professional Women`s Network Romania Association / LLP GROUP; Smart Everything Everywhere, Elite Business Women and INACO - Competitiveness Initiative.
The agenda of the meeting was the following:
- Presentation of the Interreg Europe Program, the Femina project, its objectives, the partnership, and its activities and deliverables
- Current situation and future perspectives on barriers related to the promotion of female entrepreneurship, career progress and gender innovation in the Bucharest-Ilfov region Open discussion and Barriers and Enablers analysis
- understanding and identifying the barriers and key elements that make it possible to analyze the reasons for the gender gap in the high-tech sectors
