On 3rd of April 2019, Bucharest Ilfov Regional Development Agency organized the 2nd stakeholder group meeting held at Novotel Hotel, Bucharest. The 20 attendees were from the public, private, and NGO sector such as Ministry of Research and Innovation; National Institute for Laser, Plasma & Radiation Physics (INFLPR); Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI); National Agency for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men; Ilfov County Council; Professional Women`s Network Romania Association / LLP GROUP; Smart Everything Everywhere, Elite Business Women and INACO - Competitiveness Initiative.

The main discussions were focused on the results of the questionnaires sent before the meeting to our stakeholders regarding the topics included in the Joint Report Understanding Barriers and Enablers. We have received contributions on behalf of the stakeholders we have worked on the analysis of barriers and enablers and on the understanding of their sector-specific nature that helped us to outline some conclusions on the situation in our region regarding the 3 subjects Femina project approaches (female entrepreneurship, Employment and career progression in high-tech SMEs and the gender dimension of innovation)

The second part of the meeting focused on the presentation of one of the good practices identified in the region by a representative of the owner of GP invited at the meeting. The good practice is called Elite Business Club implemented by Elite Business Woman organization which is a private initiative for women entrepreneurs. Its mission is to be a business development tool for companies founded by women, through Elite Business Club focusing on networking and business promotion, but also know-how exchange between Speakers, mentors, and participants.

 The meeting ended with a debate session regarding the conclusions of the results of the questionnaires and the good practice approach.
