FAI - Fondo Ambiente Italiano (The National Trust for Italy) is a national not-for-profit foundation that was set up in 1975 with the objective to save, restore and open to the public numerous fine examples of Italy's artistic and natural heritage. The mission of FAI is twofold: on the one hand, it is to promote a tangible culture of respect for Italy's natural heritage, art, history and traditions; on the other, it is to protect a legacy that forms a fundamental part of the roots and identity of the Italian people. Nowadays, FAI manages 61 properties, 35 of which are open to the public, visited by 800 thousand people a year.
FITZCARRALDO is an independent private foundation focusing on groundbreaking approaches in research, consulting, training, and documentation on cultural, arts and media management, economics and policies. About themselves they say: "We serve and inspire all those who create, practice, produce, participate, promote and support the arts and culture."

Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella is a private bank foundation representing the ideal continuation of Cassa di Risparmio di Biella, founded in 1856 by the bishop of Biella Giovanni Pietro Losana. It supports cultural, economic and social development of Biella Province in order to safeguard its artistic, historic and environmental heritage. 
Fondazione CRT is a private non-profit organization founded in 1991. For 28 years, it has been one of the "engines" of development and growth in the north of Italy in three main areas: Art and Culture, Research & Education, Welfare and Territory. It implements projects and resources in the promotion of the arts and cultural activities, the promotion of scientific research and training for young people, support for innovation and social entrepreneurship and assistance to people in need. Particular attention is paid to internationalization, indeed Fondazione CRT is present in international networks of philanthropy, within the European Foundation Centre and the European Venture Philanthropy Association.
Furthermore, with a budget of 100 million euros, Fondazione CRT has completely restored the OGR (a former large industrial building in the heart of Turin) and reconverted it into an innovative and experimental centre for contemporary culture, art, research and business acceleration. 
The Compagnia di San Paolo was founded in Turin in 1563 as a charitable lay brotherhood by seven citizens who decided their mission was to help the poor. In 1992, it was transformed into a foundation as a consequence of the restructuring of the San Paolo Bank Group. The areas in which Compagnia acts are: Research and higher education, Cultural heritage, Cultural activities, Health, Welfare policy.
Consulta per la Valorizzazione dei Beni Artistici e Culturali di Torino (Board for the promotion of cultural and artistic heritage of Turin) was founded in 1987 with the purpose of enhancing and promoting awareness of the historical and artistic heritage of Turin and Piemont region. The association is financed by its 31 Members, which include private companies and public bodies, through yearly donations: more than 30 MEur have been invested and 60 development and restoration works accomplished over 30 years in cooperation with the preservation Institutions and Public Bodies. Besides development and restoration works, Consulta also promoted editorial and awareness activities regarding the relationship between Enterprises and Cultural Heritage, as it occurred with Corporate Culture Week, national initiative which takes place every autumn since 2001 and promoted by Confindustria - the main association representing manufacturing and service companies in Italy. 
The Museo Egizio, founded in 1824, is the oldest museum dedicated to Egyptian antiquities and represents the second most important collection, outside of Egypt, of art and artefacts from the civilization who developed on the banks of the Nile.
The exhibition space consists of around 10.000 square meters and 15 rooms filled with 3.300 artefacts, as well as a 600-square-meter area dedicated to temporary exhibitions. Since 2004, the management of the collection, owned by the Italian State, has been entrusted to the non-profit "Fondazione Museo delle Antichità Egizie di Torino", the very first experiment in Italy of a museum management tool with the participation of the private sector.
