Three videos presenting food sector SMEs from Harghita county

Harghita County Council produced three excellent videos of food sector SMEs from their regions. In the videos the managers of the SMEs presents their companies' stories and strategies in growth. 

The videos were produced for the 4th FRIDGE Joint Workshop that was held on the 26th of April 2021 and hosted by Harghita County Countil.

1. The CSENGŐ Agricultural Cooperative

The CSENGŐ Agricultural Cooperative was founded in 2011 in order to help local farmers to provide them better and more stable price of the milk they produce. The cooperative produces and sells cheese from milk provided by local  farmers.  The manager of the cooperative, Mr. Zoltán Gál explains the story of the cooperative. 

2. BENEDEK - Meat processing company

Benedek is a meat processing SME that employs over 250 employees in Harghita county. Since its beginning the company has been growing yearly with about 20 % and invested extensively in new machinery. In the video Mr. Zoltán Kovács, the CEO of Benedek, explaing the story and values of the company. 

3. Silvimex bakery 

Silvimex is bakery located in Harghita county. In the video, Mr. József Egyed, the owner and executive director at the Silimex KFT introduces the bakery and it’s story as producer of home-made artisan bread. The company was founded in 1992 and has been one of the first companies to receive the Szekler Product Trademark.
