On 23.08.2018 the Tulcea County Council organized the last HERICOAST project's progress Press Conference, where the conclusions, impressions, experiences and lessons learned from all those involved in the project were highlighted.
On the occasion of the event, the results and objectives achieved by the implementation team were discussed during the 6 semesters, and finally, together with the patrimonial expert, a draft of the Action Plan was disseminated, the last objective to be reached within this Phase .
Mr. Dumitru Mergeani, vice president of the County Council, at the end of the event concluded that at the end of this phase we can say that HERICOAST
"is an ambitious project, a challenge for colleagues from the Tulcea county Council. During the project, it has been seen that beautiful things can also be done. Norway has been a project leader, five workshops happened, three of them in Sulina, Valladolid and Donegal, where we have seen good practice models and have gone through interesting experiences from which we can learn as an institution.
I want to congratulate my colleagues from the County Council, I want to congratulate the stakeholders, the authorities from Sulina, Jurilovca, Sfântu Gheorghe, Chilia Veche, Sarichioi for having attended each of these meetings.
We hope for as many projects as we do not have a very consistent budget dedicated to this type of activities and every euro that comes from european funds is welcome.

At the event attended over 20 persons, project’s stakeholders, local importance guests, and the leadership of Tulcea County Council.
