The doors and windows of Cultural Heritage will open again for professionals, experts, curators and heritage lovers in the 10th edition of AR&PA Biennial, an international event

The Biennial will focus on the topic “Society and Heritage”, inseparable pair, consolidated as core concept during the last edition in 2014.

The Cultural Heritage General Director of the Junta de Castilla y León played the first chords of the AR&PA Biennial 2016, launching the event at the International Seminar held at the third Feira: Patrimonio.pt, similar gathering held at the Monastery of Santa Clara la Velha, in Coimbra, from 9 to 11 of last October.

The structure of the Biennial will lie on the same six pillars.

  • The first one will be the Fair, which uses the sections Employment, Institutions, Business and Museums to show its engagement with Cultural Heritage.
  • The program’s Forum, AR&PA Innovation and the International Conference complete the Fair, along with the recognition entailed by the Awards.
  • Last but not least, is the Social AR&PA program, that focuses on the youngest visitors through AR&PA With the Family, on maintaining global accessibility with AR&PA for Everyone, raising the voice of local entities and associations through AR&PA Initiatives and broadening its borders thanks to “Open for AR&PA”. In this edition, emphasis will be given to bringing concerns closer to knowledge and solutions, promoting an even more personal exchange among professionals, institutions and managers.

HERICOAST will have the opportunity to disseminate the project objectives, activities and expected results in a specific stand
