On 16 of March 2017 took place in Markina-Xemein, Lea Artibai, the second dissemination event with the participation of 25 attendees plus 3 staff members.

The day began with the welcome of the president of the Development Agency who made an introduction emphasizing the purpose of the day, presenting the new video promoting the heritage of Lea Artibai and distributing a leaf with some questions about the patrimony of the región which at the end of the day had to deliver. 

The goal of the day will be to report the steps taken in the HERICOAST project and have a feedback. In addition to raising awareness of the importance and potential of the heritage of Lea Artibai and how it can be a dynamic element of the development of a region.

To this end, Nekane Irusta explained the measures taken under the Hericoast-Interreg Europe project. In addition, the invited speakers: Beatriz Herreras focused on Heritage and landscape in Lea Artibai: patrimonial protection and activation. She explained the investigation of the heritage of Lea Artibai that she has carried out: what patrimony are protected, which are proposed to protect, some real example of recovery that they have carried out ...

Moreover, Mikel Landa and Alazne Landa spoke of a real case carried out, of the preservation of a living cultural landscape: the recovery of the Salt Valley of Añana Preservation.  

After the presentations, the 25 attendees filled out the questionnaire giving their ideas and contributions about what heritage they would put in value, how they would put it (politics, sensitization, actions, ...) how to participate in it, ...
