Lillesand municipality invited the county councils of Vest and Aust-Agder together with representatives from the association of private owners in Brekkestø and the Directorate of Norwegian Customs to a field visit in the historic outport of Brekkestø. Total of 7 participants.
The purpose of the field visit was to demonstrate and discuss challenges and opportunities in the future development of the historic outport. Of special importance is the property of the Directorate of Norwegian Customs who owns buildings in the outport (former custom houses). One of these might show opportunities for development of an information center for history of outports on Agder.
