The European Health Award (EHA) gives recognition to initiatives aiming to improve public health or healthcare in Europe. The EHA promotes cross-border cooperation, multi-country working and the development of sustainable & innovative initiatives that address current healthcare challenges.
The winner will be awarded prize money of EUR 10 000 at the European Health Forum Gastein 2017 (4-6 October 2017, Bad Hofgastein, Austria). The jury is looking for initiatives focusing on public health or healthcare delivery, addressing threats to health, promoting health or improving quality of care and access to care. Furthermore, initiatives must be implemented in at least two European countries. They must also be sustainable, innovative, transferable and ready for implementation.
