Nicosia Development Agency, the Lead Partner of HoCare Project, has represented the project at the Smart Regions 2.0 Conference: Maximising Europe's innovation potential, in Helsinki which took place between 1st – 2nd June 2017. The Conference was organized by the European Commission.
Smart Regions 2.0 Conference is a high-level Smart Regions event which provided the opportunity to national and regional authorities and organizations to share experience of how smart specialisation has been implemented in their countries and regions. The event also provided the opportunity to participants to share experience between projects supported by the European Structural Investment Funds and other EU programmes and policies in the areas of research, industrial policy, education and skills. Nicosia Development Agency had the opportunity to promote HoCare project across EU’s stakeholders and discuss with representatives from the European institutions and national and regional governments, the possibility of cooperation in further developing the idea and results of the Project.
