Within the framework of the HoCare project, Nicosia Development Agency (ANEL) organized the 1st Local Stakeholders Group Meeting in Cyprus. The meeting took place on October 15th, 2016 at the Conference Room of Latsia Municipality in Nicosia.
The purpose of this event was to introduce the project to the Cypriot Stakeholders and Integrate Stakeholder’s Engagement with the Project Cycle. The 1st Local Stakeholders Group Meeting was widely attended by representatives from all involved levels in Cyprus: Government, Public Sector, Private Sector, Universities and civil society.
In the first part of the meeting Nicosia Development Agency presented the HoCare Project and the representative of Directorate General for European Programmes, Coordination and Development, Ms Eleana Theodoulou made a Brief Presentation of the chosen to study, for the needs of the project, Operational Program "Competitiveness and Sustainable Development 2014 - 2020".
In the second part, attendees were asked to discuss and share their views and experiences on the following: - Current Situation– Needs Identification in the field of Home Care in Cyprus - Innovative - good practices in the field of Home Care. - Formulate suggestions for improving the application of the quadruple helix approach In the closing part of the meeting, all participants worked together to formulate suggestions for improving the application of the quadruple helix approach, which was the main aim of the meeting.
