Partners from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia have met on the first project partner’s annual meeting since the beginning of the second phase of the HoCare project (“Delivery of Innovative Solutions for Home Care by strengthening quadruple-helix cooperation in regional innovation chains”). The meeting took place in Liberec, the Czech Republic on 6 March 2019 and was hosted by DEX Innovation Centre.
The second phase of the project is dedicated to the implementation and monitoring of the partners’ Action Plans in the field of ICT services for home care in each participating region. The focus of the meeting in Liberec was thus the presentation of the developments in the process of Action Plan implementation in each of the participating countries. Action Plans provide details on how the lessons learnt from the cooperation will be exploited in order to improve the policy instrument tackled within a particular country. At the meeting, partners gave short presentations of the actions that have been implemented or are to be implemented.
The presentations specified the nature of the actions, steps applied towards the implementation of these actions and the timeframe, the players involved, success and difficulties faced and an estimation of the expected results, this included time of completion, finances and outputs. The Lead Partner, Nicosia Development Agency, has led the discussion and asked partners additional questions related to the impact and challenges in their implementation.
Partners will meet again at the final high- level political dissemination event in Nicosia, Cyprus on 2-4 October 2019.
